The D-RLC10 is designed for systems that require level adjustment from one or several control points. It is particularly suited to installations using RDL VCA modules because it is compatible with all modules in that category. This model combines rotary level adjustment, remote-location support, level indication, and control-signal generation in one device. Approximate travel from minimum to maximum level varies with rotation speed: five rotations with slow movement and no acceleration, three rotations at medium speed with acceleration, or one fast counterclockwise rotation. This speed-dependent behavior allows the encoder to cover the operating range using different amounts of rotation.
The visual display continuously identifies the operating level and changes brightness according to whether an adjustment is underway. Together with last-level power-up behavior, the display and encoder provide both an operating reference and direct level adjustment at each configured control location.
