Key Features
The Philips L-Line 7000 Series 22BDL7231L/00 is a 22-inch direct-view LED cabinet designed for indoor signage installations that require flexible shape and size configurations. Seamless linking and multiple size options make it suitable for custom displays assembled from multiple cabinets. Its 3.1 mm pixel pitch, landscape placement, and 2:1 cabinet aspect ratio support applications where content clarity and modular design are priorities. The specified 90-degree side angle also gives system designers a defined cabinet geometry for creative configurations.
Each cabinet provides a 160 x 80 resolution, totaling 12,800 pixels, with an SMD 2121 copper-wire LED configuration and 1R1G1B pixel constitution. Following calibration, brightness is rated at 900 nits, complemented by a typical 3900:1 contrast ratio and brightness uniformity of at least 97%. Brightness and colour calibration are supported, while wide colour gamut display is included as a picture enhancement. Colour temperature can be adjusted from 4000 to 9500 K, with a default setting of 6500 ±500 K.
The panel provides a 155-degree horizontal viewing angle and a 150-degree vertical viewing angle. These specifications help maintain visibility across broad indoor viewing positions without requiring viewers to stand directly in front of the display.
The die-cast aluminium cabinet measures 500 x 250 x 40 mm and weighs 3.38 kg. Guide pins and the cabinet’s light weight are listed as installation features, helping installers align and handle individual units during assembly. Each cabinet includes one NovaStar A5S Plus receiving card. RJ45 connections are provided for data and signal-control loop-through, and power is connected through a three-core socket.
Power loop-through supports up to 16 cabinets in 230 V environments or up to eight cabinets in 110 V environments, subject to a 10 A maximum. The cabinet accepts AC 100–240 V input. Supplied items include one QSG, one power cable, one RJ45 CAT-5 LAN cable, and one receiving card.
The display operates with a refresh-rate range of 2100–3900 Hz and supports frame frequencies of 50 and 60 Hz. Brightness is specified at 1200 nits before calibration and 900 nits after calibration. The LEDs are rated for 100,000 hours at half brightness. Maximum AC power consumption is less than 60 W, typical consumption is less than 20 W, and black-screen consumption is less than 9 W.
This model is specified for indoor use and operation from 20 to 45 °C, with an operating relative-humidity range of 10–80%. Storage specifications cover 20 to 50 °C and 10–85% relative humidity.
The 500 x 250 mm cabinet format combines two 249.9 x 249.9 mm modules, each with an 80 x 80 pixel resolution. This modular structure, together with seamless cabinet linking, allows the L-Line 7000 Series to scale beyond a conventional single-panel layout. The 40 mm cabinet depth and 3.38 kg weight provide a compact physical format for a cabinet offering calibrated 900-nit output.
Conformal coating is applied to the hub board and the back side of the LED module. Fire-retardancy certifications include BS 476 Part 7:1997 and UL94. Regulatory approvals include EN55032, EN55035, EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3, IEC/UL60950, IEC/UL62368, IEC62471, RoHS, FCC SDOC Part 15 Class A, and EAC. The product carries a two-year warranty.
The 22BDL7231L/00 combines a fine 3.1 mm pixel pitch with 900-nit calibrated brightness, a typical 3900:1 contrast ratio, and broad viewing angles in a modular indoor LED cabinet. Its die-cast aluminium construction, guide-pin installation, NovaStar receiving card, RJ45 signal loop-through, and defined power-loop limits provide concrete specifications for planning multi-cabinet signage systems. It is a strong fit when creative display dimensions, calibrated output, and cabinet-level integration details are central to the project.
