Key Features
The Philips L-Line 7000 31BDL7224L/00 is designed for indoor LED signage assembled from linked cabinets. Its 750 x 250 mm footprint, 3:1 aspect ratio, landscape placement, and 2.4 mm pixel pitch suit installations that require a wide modular canvas rather than a conventional fixed-size display. Seamless linking and multiple size options allow cabinets to be combined into displays with customized shapes and dimensions. Each cabinet provides a 312 x 104 resolution and a 31.1-inch diagonal within an area of 0.1875 square meters.
This cabinet combines calibrated image performance with a lightweight die-cast aluminium structure. Brightness is rated at 1200 nits before calibration and 900 nits after calibration, while brightness uniformity is at least 97%. The typical contrast ratio is 3500:1, and both horizontal and vertical viewing angles are specified at 160 degrees. Brightness and colour calibration are supported, giving installers control over consistency across a linked display. The adjustable colour-temperature range extends from 4000 to 9500 K, with a default setting of 6500 ±500 K.
Guide pins and a cabinet weight of 4.76 kg support installation and alignment. The cabinet measures 750 x 250 x 40 mm and uses die-cast aluminium construction. Data and signal-control loop-through connections use RJ45, while power connects through a three-core socket. Each cabinet includes one NovaStar A5S Plus receiving card.
Power loop-through supports up to 12 cabinets in 230 V environments or up to six cabinets in 110 V environments, with a 10 A maximum. Input voltage is AC 100-240 V. Typical power consumption is below 31.67 W; maximum AC consumption is below 95 W, maximum BC consumption is below 115 W, and black-screen consumption is below 10 W. Supplied installation items include two RJ45 CAT-5 LAN cables, two power cables, and one quick-start guide.
The SMD 1515 copper-wire LED system uses a 1R1G1B pixel constitution and has a stated lifetime of 100,000 hours at half brightness. Its refresh rate ranges from 2100 to 3900 Hz, with frame frequencies of 50 and 60 Hz. Wide colour gamut display is listed as the cabinet’s picture-enhancement capability. Each 249.9 x 249.9 mm module has a resolution of 104 x 104 pixels, while the complete cabinet reaches 312 x 104 pixels.
The cabinet is specified for operating temperatures from 20 to 45 degrees Celsius and operating relative humidity from 10% to 80%. Storage specifications cover 20 to 50 degrees Celsius and 10% to 85% relative humidity. These environmental figures define the stated operating and storage limits for the indoor cabinet.
The L-Line 7000 platform centers on modular flexibility: seamless cabinet linking and multiple available sizes make it possible to construct displays beyond a single predetermined format. This 75 x 25 cm model adds a wide 3:1 cabinet shape, a 90-degree side-angle specification, and a slim 40 mm depth. Conformal coating is applied to the hub board and the backside LED module.
Listed fire-retardancy certifications include BS 476 Part 7:1997, UL94, and DIN4102-1. Regulatory approvals include EN55032, EN55035, EN61000-3-2, EN61000-3-3, IEC/UL60950, IEC/UL62368, IEC62471, RoHS, and FCC SDOC Part 15 Class A. The cabinet is covered by a two-year warranty.
The 31BDL7224L/00 is a focused choice for an indoor, landscape-oriented modular LED installation requiring a 2.4 mm pixel pitch, 900-nit calibrated brightness, wide 160-degree viewing angles, and RJ45 cabinet linking. Its calibrated image specifications, lightweight aluminium cabinet, included connection cables, and defined power-loop limits provide concrete parameters for planning a multi-cabinet Philips L-Line 7000 display.
