Key Features
The Philips L-Line 7000 Series 41BDL7224L/00 is a 1000 x 250 x 40 mm indoor LED signage cabinet designed for seamless linking into displays with distinctive shapes and dimensions. Each 6.19 kg die-cast aluminium cabinet supplies a 416 x 104 pixel canvas at a 2.4 mm pixel pitch. Its 4:1 landscape format and slim 40 mm depth support long, low-profile display configurations.
Designed for indoor use, this model fits modular signage installations that call for an elongated cabinet or multiple linked cabinets. The 160-degree horizontal and vertical viewing angles provide broad visibility, while the documented 90-degree side angle offers another geometric option for system planning. Seamless linking and multiple size options make the L-Line platform suitable when a conventional single-panel shape would be restrictive.
Calibrated brightness reaches 900 nits, supported by at least 97% brightness uniformity and a typical contrast ratio of 3500:1. Before calibration, the specified brightness is 1200 nits. Brightness and colour calibration are supported, allowing cabinets to be adjusted as part of a coordinated installation.
The wide colour gamut display uses an SMD 1515 copper-wire LED configuration with 1R1G1B pixel constitution. Colour temperature can be adjusted from 4000 to 9500 K, with a default specification of 6500 ±500 K. These controls provide defined parameters for matching the visual presentation across a linked display.
At 6.19 kg, the cabinet combines a lightweight design with guide pins intended to simplify physical alignment. Its die-cast aluminium construction measures only 40 mm deep, while the landscape placement and 0.25 m² cabinet area provide clear dimensions for planning a complete display structure.
RJ45 connections are used for both data and signal-control loop-through. Each cabinet includes one NovaStar A5S Plus receiving card. The supplied accessories consist of two RJ45 CAT-5 LAN cables, two power cables, and one quick-start guide.
The cabinet accepts AC 100–240 V through a three-core socket. Power loop-through supports eight cabinets or fewer in 230 V environments and four cabinets or fewer in 110 V environments, with a stated maximum of 10 A. These limits give integrators concrete boundaries when organizing linked cabinets and their power distribution.
Each cabinet contains a 416 x 104 resolution, while its individual 249.9 x 249.9 mm modules provide 104 x 104 pixels. The system supports refresh rates from 2100 to 3900 Hz and frame frequencies of 50 and 60 Hz. Combined with the broad viewing angles, these specifications define a display platform developed for large-format indoor LED signage.
The specified LED lifetime is 100,000 hours at half brightness. Operating conditions cover temperatures from 20 to 45 °C and relative humidity from 10% to 80%. Storage specifications list temperatures from 20 to 50 °C and relative humidity from 10% to 85%.
The cabinet’s defining feature is its unusually wide 4:1 format. At one meter wide and only 250 mm high, it provides a building block for display shapes that differ from standard rectangular panels. Seamless linking, a 2.4 mm pixel pitch, and a 40.6-inch cabinet diagonal further define its role within the Philips L-Line 7000 Series.
Integration is supported by a NovaStar receiving card, RJ45 signal loop-through, guide pins, and cabinet-level calibration. Conformal coating is applied to the hub board and the back of the LED module. Listed fire-retardancy certifications include BS 476 Part 7:1997, UL94, and DIN4102-1, alongside the stated regulatory approvals.
The 41BDL7224L/00 is best matched to indoor LED signage projects that require a slim, wide cabinet with modular linking. Its 416 x 104 resolution, 900-nit calibrated brightness, 3500:1 typical contrast, 160-degree viewing angles, adjustable colour temperature, and documented installation provisions give designers and integrators a detailed foundation for planning a customized L-Line display.
