Panasonic RZ14KU Overview

Boasting 14,000 lumens while being lighter and more compact than its 12K predecessor, the PT-RZ14KU is ideal for event production, rental, and staging. Panasonic offers a full suite of lens options (sold separately) to cover a wide range of usage scenarios. Connectivity is available via HDMI, DisplayPort, and customizable with a slot to accept Intel Smart Display Modules (SDM). A number of control ports and BNC multi-projector/3D sync make for easy integration into larger networked systems. With a network connection and Panasonic’s NFC functionality you can easily make settings adjustments by touch via smartphone. Additionally, Wi-Fi and screen mirroring are available with the AJ-WM50 Dual Band USB Wi-Fi Module (sold separately).

Based on the groundbreaking RQ25K Series, RZ14KU weighs 20% less and is about 40% smaller than the previous RZ12K for efficient transport and installation. It supports existing 3-Chip DLP lenses and full-brightness projection on AC 100-240 V power. Intel Smart Display Module (Intel SDM)-ready slot integrates proprietary or third-party function boards that adapt and scale connectivity. Save time with the NFC function and user test-pattern registration. The projector also comes with a preactived upgrade kit for Panasonic’s Geometry Manager Pro software to assist with projector control, brightness control, geometry adjustments, edge-blending, and color matching.
3DLP Laser Projection
The RZ14KU combines high brightness, resolution, contrast, and color accuracy for an awe-inspiring visual experience. Dynamic Contrast is to 25,000:1 and includes new scene analysis circuitry that better recognizes light and dark areas of the image, enhancing realism. Gradation Smoother provides easy correction of color banding, while the black level function offers control-point border adjustment for curved screens.
Reliable Long Life with Low Maintenance
The projector’s optical engine and laser light source module comply with the IP5X Dust Protected (IEC 60529) standard, and together with a filterless liquid cooling system, enable 20,000 plus hours of maintenance-free projection. Backup Input and Multi-Laser Drive Engine enhance reliability and add insurance against interruptions that impact the guest experience.
