Key Features
The AtlasIED IP-ZCM is a PoE+ IP-addressable IP-to-analog gateway designed to connect a unified communication platform with analog audio systems. Part of the AtlasIED IPX Series, it combines network connectivity, analog output support, and an integrated amplifier in a compact chassis. Plug-and-play convenience and two-way audio support make it a practical bridge between IP communications and existing analog infrastructure.
The IP-ZCM is suited to installations that need to connect network-based communications with analog systems using 8Ω, 25V, or 70.7V outputs. Its combination of IP connectivity and analog output options supports projects where existing analog equipment must operate as part of a unified communication environment. Multicast network control also makes the gateway appropriate for multicast-enabled network deployments.
Two-way audio support expands its role beyond one-direction audio delivery. The gateway can serve projects that require audio communication between an IP platform and compatible analog equipment while keeping configuration and power options flexible.
The integrated amplifier is a central advantage of the IP-ZCM. It delivers up to 15 watts into an 8Ω load and supports 8Ω, 25V, or 70.7V outputs. Combining IP-to-analog gateway functionality with amplification places the network interface and analog output stage in one model.
Power can be supplied by an IEEE 802.3af or IEEE 802.3at compliant PoE or PoE+ network switch. A local 24VDC power supply can also be used. These two power-source options allow the unit to be incorporated according to the available network and local power infrastructure.
The network input is an RJ-45 female connector located on the PCB. The gateway is designed for multicast-enabled networks and provides static configuration through an HTTP GUI or Cisco SRST. These configuration choices support direct browser-based setup as well as integration in a Cisco SRST environment.
The IP-ZCM occupies 1RU and measures 8.5 inches wide, 8.85 inches deep, and 1.75 inches high. Metric dimensions are 216mm wide, 225mm deep, and 45mm high. These defined dimensions make it possible to plan the required equipment space before installation.
Installers can select among 8Ω, 25V, and 70.7V outputs based on the analog system being connected. Power can then be provided through a compliant network switch or a local 24VDC supply, while static settings are managed through the supported HTTP GUI or Cisco SRST.
The integrated amplifier is rated for a maximum of 15 watts into an 8Ω load. Output compatibility includes low-impedance 8Ω operation along with 25V and 70.7V distributed-audio formats. This range gives the IP-ZCM defined options for connecting different types of analog systems without changing its core IP gateway role.
Two-way audio support enables bidirectional communication, while multicast network control provides operation on compatible multicast-enabled networks. The result is a focused combination of IP addressing, analog connectivity, amplification, and network-based control.
The IP-ZCM brings several functions together: an IP-to-analog gateway, an integrated amplifier, three analog output formats, PoE or PoE+ compatibility, an alternative local 24VDC power option, and static configuration through an HTTP GUI or Cisco SRST. This combination distinguishes the model from a basic network interface that does not include an amplified analog output.
The unit is safety listed to 62368-1, CSA C22.2 No. 62368-1, and the IEC 62368-1 CB Scheme, with FCC also identified in its safety listing information. It carries a 60-month warranty from the date of purchase.
The AtlasIED IP-ZCM is a purpose-built choice for linking unified communications with analog audio systems. Its 15-watt maximum amplifier rating, 8Ω, 25V, and 70.7V outputs, two-way audio support, multicast network control, and dual network or local power options provide a clearly defined integration package. For installations requiring IP-to-analog conversion with amplification in a 1RU form factor, it offers the essential connection, configuration, and output capabilities in one model.
