Netgear WAX628 Overview

Designed to for residential and commercial installations, the WAX628 AX5400 Wireless Dual-Band Access Point from Netgear makes it easy to manage a multitude of smart home and business devices, even in dense environments. By taking advantage of the 160 MHz channels, this Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) access point delivers total throughput speeds of up to 5.4 Gb/s over the 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz bands.

Simply connect the WAX628's 2.5G Ethernet port to a PoE+ compatible switch to transfer both data and power over a single cable. Alternatively, you can add a separately purchased 12V DC power adapter. A one Gigabit Ethernet LAN port is available for wired devices such as computers, smart TVs, and game consoles. With the included mount, you can discreetly place the access point on a wall or ceiling, where it may blend in with the environment. Use the Netgear Insight service to configure, manage, and monitor your network.
