Panasonic PT-REZ12 Overview

With 12,000 ISO lumens and Evolved Dynamic Contrast, the REZ12 series is ideal for medium to large sized venues, such as higher education and corporate conference centers, retail spaces, and museums.

This model does not ship with a lens, but has a selection of compatible lenses to cover different size and distance uses that are easier to set up than previous generations. The new suite of Panasonic lenses feature Lens Memory and Auto Lens Identification functions and now offer powered periphery focus adjustment operable via remote control or the Smart Projector Control app. Input connectivity is available via HDMI, DisplayPort, and an Intel SDM compatible upgradeable slot. The REZ12 series comes equipped with a full suite of professional features and software ready to simplify the trickiest installations.

High-Contrast and Diverse Content Support
New scene-recognition circuitry and a higher 25,000:1 contrast ratio improve Dynamic Contrast dramtically. Rich Color Enhancer revitalizes color expression to reproduce artwork accurately. Black-level adjustment evolves to enable seamless blending on curved screens, while Gradation Smoother easily corrects color banding. Content with a 21:9 aspect ratio is also supported.

Gradation Smoother and Detail Clarity Processor resolve imperfections for an overwhelmingly realistic experience. Panasonic’s black-level adjustment can eliminate distracting black-level bumps that can sometimes appear in blends outside of the image display area after geometric adjustment is applied. By unlinking black-level adjustment from geometric adjustment, black-level settings can be applied to the entire blend, including the image overlaps outside the image display area, for a completely seamless multi-screen image.

Supports Widescreen Input Signals

The latest video-conferencing software layouts can output a 21:9 signal to a REZ12 Series projector so that the faces of remote participants appear along the bottom of the screen at eye level with those seated in the room. The REZ12 Series features an optical engine and laser light source module compliant with the IP5X Dust Protected (IEC 60529) standard and a refined liquid cooling system that enable up to 20,000 hours of maintenance-free projection. Backup Input switches to a secondary signal to prevent interruptions if the primary is disrupted.
Wide Scalability with Intel SDM-Ready Slot
An Intel SDM-ready slot integrates optional proprietary or third-party function boards. These reduce installation complexity and make it easier to adapt, scale, and expand your projector’s connectivity to suit different applications and event-site infrastructure. The projector works with Panasonic’s DIGITAL LINK Terminal Board (TY-SB01DL), 12G-SDI Terminal Board (TY-SB01QS), 12G-SDI Optical Function Board (TY-SB01FB), and Wireless Presentation System PressIT Receiver Board (TY-SB01WP) as well as selected third-party PC boards, terminal boards, and AVoIP boards.

Lightweight, easy to handle, and more compact than previous models, the REZ12 Series smooths out workflow hassle with a flexible design to fit confined installation spaces. It suits new lenses with powered periphery focus and a wider shift range. Intel SDM-ready slot expands connectivity, while a new sensor enables projection angle display via GUI. Preactivated upgrade kits for Geo Pro and improved black level adjustment save time when mapping on curved screens.
