Lutron Fluorescent Power Module

Make designer lighting controllable using this power module. It’s typically used in specialty lighting applications that need a transformer replacement in order to provide dimming control. This gives it the capability to dim fluorescent lights in 1 zone that have Lutron Hi-lume and Eco-10 line-voltage control electronic dimming ballasts. It also works with RA2 Select neutral wire dimmers.

Adapts To Voltage Variations

Patented RTISS-equipped circuitry compensates for incoming line-voltage variations in real time. This power module compensates for a +/-2% change in RMS voltage/cycle and +/-2% Hz change in frequency/second.

Softswitch Technology

Lutron’s patented Softswitch technology utilizes three components to create an arc-less circuit: a mechanically held relay (the primary component of other relays), an electronically held relay, and a solid-state triac. A signal closes (or turns on) the electronically held relay. Once this relay is closed, the triac energizes the load. Next, the mechanical relay closes, passing current through contacts back to the electronically held relay and triac, eliminating heat and inefficiency for 10 line cycles until the first relay opens again.

Dual Voltage Models Available

For other lighting loads, modules are available for 120 V or for dual-voltage 120–277 V applications.
