Atlona AT-OME-EX-LT Overview

Extend your transmission of HDMI DCI/UHD 4K60 video signals including your USB device communication up to 130' using the Omega 4K/UHD HDMI/USB-over-HDBaseT Lite Extender Kit from Atlona. The kit includes a transmitter, receiver, one power supply for the receiver, and surface mounting hardware to fit the two compact units easily into your A/V environment in a classroom, conference room, or event space.

The transmitter has a USB Type-B host connection for computer control, and it inputs up to DCI/UHD 4K video via one HDMI 2.0 source such as a Blu-ray player or camera. It also inputs signals via two USB 2.0 Type-A peripherals such as a microphone, camera, or speakerphone. The transmitter then sends the signals via HDBaseT over Cat 7/6a cable up to 130' to the receiver.

If transmitting up to 1080p60 video resolution, you can send the signal up to 230' over Cat 7/6a. The units also support embedding up to 24-bit, 192 kHz PCM or Dolby audio. The receiver accepts all the pass-through signals via its HDBaseT input and sends them out via its one HDMI and two USB outputs.

The extender system is HDCP 2.2 compliant, and it features IR extension, RS-232 pass-through, and CEC pass-through.

The receiver is powered using the included power adapter, and it supplies power to the transmitter over the HDBaseT connection via PoE. Power can also be supplied to USB devices that require it, such as a mouse or microphone. A USB port on each unit allows you to update the firmware with future updates.
