Optoma Technology ZH506-W Overview
Enjoy bright images and high dynamic contrast with the Optoma ZH506-W 5000-Lumen Full HD Laser DLP Projector. Its native 1920 x 1080 resolution displays data and images clearly at various viewing distances, while its 300,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio helps enhance detail in dark images. Its 1.4 to 2.24:1 throw ratio allows you to place the projector relatively far from the screen without losing focus.
The ZH506-W features RCA composite video, VGA, and two HDMI inputs, one of which is MHL-compatible for wired streaming from your compatible smart device. Two onboard 10W speakers mitigate the need for an external speaker system, but you can connect one with the 1/8" or RCA outputs. An IR remote control with a built-in laser pointer is included as an added convenience.

DLP Technology
Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology is designed to provide digital projection with high contrast, fast response time, good pixel structure, and virtually no color degradation.
Four-Corner Adjustment
Four-corner geometric correction is designed to provide quick and easy image adjustments for any of the corner points of the image for uneven or angled projection surfaces.
Vertical Lens Shift
Vertical lens shift helps simplify installation by letting you shift the image up and down without image distortion to provide a wider range of projector placement possibilities.
RS-232 Control
Take control of the projector using HEX or ASCII commands via RS-232.
Direct Power On & Signal Power On
The Direct Power On feature lets you turn the projector on directly from the power source, allowing for installation with a power-on timer. Signal Power On capability turns the projector on when you power on your source device.
Crestron RoomView Network Control
Software provides a custom configurable interface to monitor, manage, and control the projector and other compatible connected devices remotely from a computer.
- Manage up to 250 projectors at the same time via a master computer.
- Control and adjust the projector's settings using a web browser page, including its OSD menu control.
- Set up email alerts for warning messages.
- Well-suited for large installations in educational and business environments.
3D Compatibility
Display 3D content from almost any compatible source, including 3D Blu-ray players, broadcast, and game consoles. 144 Hz rapid-refresh rate is supported for smooth, flicker-free images. Optional compatible 3D glasses are required.
