Description

Epson LS300 Overview

Enjoy large images from short distances with the black Epson EpiqVision Ultra LS300 3600-Lumen Full HD Ultra-Short Throw Smart Laser 3LCD Projector. Its ultra-short throw ratio can produce 61 to 120" images from just 1 to 15.2" away, virtually eliminating shadows caused by presenters or passers-by. Its 3600 lumens of color and white brightness, combined with its 1,500,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio, helps it overcome ambient light in many situations and retain detail in dark areas of the image without compromising overall brightness. The Full HD native resolution helps ensure that images and text are clear at most viewing distances.

The EpiqVision Ultra LS300 features two HDMI inputs for simultaneous connection to two source devices. One HDMI input is ARC-compatible for simple connectivity with your soundbar or home theater system. The projector has Wi-Fi and Chromecast built-in, and along with the onboard Android TV operating system, provides access to a library of entertainment apps and services. The Google Assistant is also onboard to enable voice searching for content and other functionality. A smart remote is included as an added convenience.

    Pros overweight cons

Posted by Unknown on 7th Mar 2023

Pros: epson renowned 3LCD eliminates Rainbow effect completely! Nice Yamaha sound system gives decent bass. Remote control is well designed and super easy to use. Cons: Loud fan noise at brightness greater than 70, which makes advertised 3600 lumen not usable. Lacking motion compensation results choppy picture for fast moving objects. Lastly, at reasonable distance for watching a 100in or larger screen, I'm not super bothered by 1080p as the highest resolutions.

A great laser short throw pick

Great price point and quality. The built in sound bar sounds amazing. I still need to figure out how to connect it to my Denon sound system as a second source HDMI arc input. It would be a definite plus if the apps included Netflix. It delivers a crisp projected picture. Some of the reviews state the fan could get loud but, so far we haven’t noticed it. I’m using a standard pull down screen and the results are impressive.
