4K/UHD HDBaseT Transmitter with Ethernet and RS-232 Control Extension
The Atlona AT-HDTX-RSNET is the professional-grade transmitting (TX) component of an HDBaseT extension system. It is engineered for use in demanding commercial environments like large boardrooms, control centers, and educational facilities, allowing for the maximum extension distance specified by the HDBaseT standard.
This unit combines four essential signals for A/V integration onto a single Category cable run (CAT5e/6/7):
High-Resolution Video: Transmits HDMI signals up to 4K/UHD (4$4096 \times 2160$) up to 5$328\text{ ft}$ (6$100\text{ m}$) using CAT6a/7 cable.
Ethernet: Provides 100BaseT pass-through, allowing network connectivity at the display location
Advanced Control: Bi-directional extension of RS-232 and IR signals for complete system management.
Power over Cable (PoCc): The transmitter often provides power to a compatible HDBaseT receiver (e.g., AT-HDRX-RSNET) over the same CAT cable, eliminating the need for a power supply at the display.
