The EA234WMI 23" LED Backlit LCD Monitor from NEC is an LED-backlit desktop monitor ideal for corporate environments. Designed to enhance work performance, the widescreen monitor features IPS panel technology with wide viewing angles, 4-way ergonomic adjustability and 25000 : 1 dynamic contrast ratio. It delivers a completely redesigned chassis with a host of enhanced features, advanced technologies, future-proof connectivity and environmentally friendly benefits. The monitor boasts excellent color accuracy and minimal viewing angle shift.

The LED backlighting of the monitor allows for a slimmer profile, lighter weight and increased power savings compared to previous generation models. The LED backlight technology not only reduces power by up to 52% compared to their predecessors, but also leads to a 30% thinner and 25% lighter chassis. The ControlSync technology allows users to control up to six EA234WMI displays in a multi-monitor configuration. The Smart Sensing technology automatically detects your work conditions and adjusts display brightness with ambient light and human sensors, while a comprehensive input panel, including HDMI, DisplayPort, DVI-D, VGA and 4-port USB hub, connects users to up-to-date peripherals and future-proofs your investment.
Other green features include Eco Mode, a carbon footprint meter and an ambient light sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness to the optimal setting depending on ambient lighting, screen content or both, conserving power up to 87% compared to typical energy consumption. In addition, the human sensor detects user activity in front of the monitor and reduces display power up to 95% with inactivity.
