Description
This Klipsch - Reference Series Dual 6-1/2" 400-Watt Passive 2-Way Floor Speaker includes a pair of RP-8060FA II speakers in a ebony finish. They are ideally suited for use in home theaters as front left and right speakers, thanks to their front-firing pair of 8" Cerametallic woofers, a 1" tweeter, and the ability to produce up to 150W RMS of power. Each speaker also has integrated up-firing Atmos drivers, which work to envelop viewers in an immersive surround sound experience. This makes them extremely capable for all of your home audio needs, delivering clear and powerful high-fidelity sound.
LTS Titanium Diaphragm Tweeter
Part of Klipsch's Reference line, the LTS (Linear Travel Suspension) works to minimize distortion for more detailed audio reproduction.
Bi-Wiring and Bi-Amping
Dual input terminals on the back of each speaker allow you to bi-wire and bi-amp with additional (optional) cabling. Bi-wiring allows you to separate the high and low frequencies to each cable. By separating them, interference and distortion are minimized, delivering a clearer sound that has more accuracy in your listening environment. Bi-amping can generate more power for your speakers by using outboard crossovers with your separate power amplifiers.
Cast Aluminum Feet
In addition to its sleek and modern appearance, the cast aluminum feet of the RP-8060FA II provide less resonance than using wood or plastic. These feet have been designed to minimize the surface area that's in contact with the floor, providing you with the extra benefit of faster and tighter low frequencies and more audio detail.
