Key Digital S2X1X Overview
The Key Digital KD-S2x1X-2 2 x 1 4K/18G HDMI Switcher is a reliable, high-performance, 2-input HDMI switcher that supports 12-bit video at 4:4:4 in 4K DCI/UHD up to 30 fps, or up to 4:4:4 4K DCI/UHD 60 fps in 8-bit. It supports HDR10 (High Dynamic Range), enabling the unit to pass signals with a greater range of luminance values than an SDR signal. Control options include a front-panel button as well as IR control using the included remote unit.
The KD-S2x1X-2 is HDCP 2.2 compliant and features 15 selectable EDID handshakes available in addition to the native EDID data that the switcher copies from the connected output display. The full buffer system manages TMDS re-clocking/signal re-generation, HDCP authentication to source and display, and EDID control handshake. The switcher supports a variety of lossless compressed digital audio formats.
